About the Practice

Daniel A. Wittersheim, MD, is a physician at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists LLC which is the largest provider of orthopaedic care on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. Founded in 1981, Bienville Orthopaedics has now grown to 15 physicians who have admitting privileges at five local hospitals. Our physicians offer the most up-to-date technology while maintaining personalized care. Our dedicated staff, at all five of our locations, works hard to create a comforting atmosphere and an environment conducive to healing.

Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists provides many programs, such as the Hand Center, the Sports Medicine Center, the Osteoporosis Center, the Spine Center, the Total Joint Replacement Center, and the Rehabilitation Center.
